U3A Nunawading - Courses

U3A Nunawading offers a variety of courses presented by our volunteer leaders. Courses are generally categorised into General or Computer. Detailed General and Computer course schedules are compiled for each term.

General Courses

... a PDF Excel document. Note that this is the authoritative schedule for General courses. The document below has been generated from the Excel version.

a PDF Word document with an index. This document is larger and will take longer to download.

The General Courses schedule applies for the whole year, with only occasional changes from term to term. The News panel on the Introduction page will indicate when a new version is available.

Computer Courses

Nunawading U3A provides a number of beginner and advanced Computer courses.

Note that a new schedule is posted for each term. The news panel on the Introduction page will be updated whenever a new version of the schedule is posted to this web site.

Please note that some courses have prerequisites.

Nunawading U3A has a well equipped computer room at the Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre complex. It is located on the top floor just to the left of Pancake Parlour.

Note that a charge of $20 may apply to many of the computer courses.

Equipment - A Multipurpose projector facilitates class demonstrations and a Pentium computer, running Windows XP and MS Office 2003, Internet Explorer 7 and Outlook Express is provided for each student. Please note that we do not teach using Windows Vista operating system, MS Office 2007 or Macintosh courses.

Notes are supplied for most courses. You may be required to supply your own memory stick.
