Knitting

U3A Nunwading is an active participant in knitting for vulnerable children of the world and has distributed huge amounts of knitted good to help children abroad. Recently 40 bags of blankets have gone to International Support Aid to be included in a container bound for ISA/CARE4KIDS Uganda. They will be distributed to a home of 46 children in Lakeside Village, Wanyange, Jinja, Uganda, East Africa and children’s homes, local mother/baby hospitals and needy widows with babies. The photos below illustrate the work we do and the children we assist. If you would like to participate in this program please contact Elsie at elsiem@bigpond.net.au
